VERONA – CEDAR GROVE COMMUNITY FUND:

Doing what matters most – building and maintaining strong, caring communities – this is what our Verona – Cedar Grove Community Fund is all about! 

We live in a world of turmoil and stress, and at times, it seems like there is very little we can do about our ever-changing environment.  Fortunately, through the Verona – Cedar Grove Community Fund, we can be a positive force in what matters most to us - keeping our neighborhoods safe, reaching out to those in our community who need our help, making sure that critical services are available for our most vulnerable residents.

By supporting our efforts, you are making a very real difference in Verona and Cedar Grove.  Your contribution stays in our two communities, providing a wide range of needed services, such as transportation to medical appointments for our elderly neighbors; safe, affordable after school programs for our children; and substance abuse prevention and treatment services for youth, adults and families.

Volunteers from our two communities are actively involved in managing our United Way’s Verona – Cedar Grove Community Fund.  These volunteers raise the funds, conduct periodic surveys to determine the social needs of our two towns, and distribute the funds to the very best programs that do what matters most – keeping our communities strong, safe and caring places to live.
