Investing in Children and Youth
United Way is committed to understanding the
needs of children and youth in our community.
We support programs that
help children and youth gain a solid foundation
for life-long learning and success through:
- Affordable, quality preschool, daycare
and after-school enrichment programs.
- Recreational activities, summer day
camp, and academic support for at-risk
youth.
- Computer literacy programs for
disadvantaged children.
- Programs that address the problem of
substance abuse among our young people
through education and treatment programs.
- Counseling and educational support
services for young people and parents of
at-risk adolescents.
